Your named GP

Every patient has a named GP who is responsible for your overall care at the surgery.

Your named GP will:

• make sure you get the services you need under our contract
• work with other health and care staff to look after you when needed
• make sure your physical and mental health needs are met

New patients are given a named GP when they register. Having a named GP does not stop you seeing any other doctor at the surgery. It does not mean you will always see your named GP.
